Walking on the quiet paths with willows growing around, you can find the bright red strawberries grown in the plastic tents. Pick one and have a taste, oh, so sweet! After the midmonth of November, 180 me strawberries in Fushan Village have grown mature. The price for the fresh strawberries is RMB 25 to RMB 30 one kilogram.
Zhang Qihong (å¼ èµ·æ´ª), president in the Strawberry Association in Fushan Village, introduced that all strawberry seedlings have received insecticide and when they grow up villagers don’t spray any pesticides. Even the water for irrigation is delivered by pipage, and the leaves and fruit will not be wet.
After picking up a full basket of strawberries, you can enjoy some local Yunnan food in every restaurant by the road, such as fried potatoes, light fish soup and eggplant with black bean sauce.
How to get there:
1. Driving from the downtown of Kunming and turn to Huiwan area of Gaoyao—Haikou Road twenty minutes later. After two-km-driving, you will arrive at Fushan Village.
2. Take a bus at Liangjiahe Bus Terminal to Fushan Village.
