Today, when I was scaning some Engliah-language learning webpages, I saw a picture about Kiterunner.

When I was a senior in the college, one of my roomate Rita told me Kite Runner was the most fashionable book that almost everyone is reading it globally, no matter on a plane, or in a cafe. I do remember she bought this book on taobao.com (a popular Chinese "e-bay")

This book, I don't know, made me feel sorry when seeing the titile of the Chapter "Cruel and beautiful friendship" I was even more painful. Ali, a son of myrmidon in a general's mansion which was regarded as one of the most magnificant and grand mansion in Afghanistan, regarded his young master as his best friend, playing kite with him in the kite competition, but was envied by Amir, the mentoned young master. He abandoned him while he was raped by some young villain. The social conditions changed, and Alil's family
sinked into degradation and was occupied by Taliban.
Then they moved to U.S. without taking Amir's family. When seeing Ali's father, a strong man with tough will and counrage, cried for leaving Amir alone in Afgan. It turned out to be that Amir was the son of Ali's father.

I don't want to mention the ending of the story now, because the painful story really sadden me.

I highly recommend this book: Kite Runner!!
