"I can not find Kunming bus routes in English!!!!"
I am a translator. Kunming has seen many route adjustments of buses this year. I've gotten some complaints from my friends saying that they can’t find bus routes in English. I found one more complaint on the GoKunming Forum. I think it is time for the authority to do something. Kunming aims to build itself into a “regional international city”. It is better to be friendly to foreigners.

DenLee at GoKunming Forum said: “Some of the bus stop names and sometimes even bus numbers/routes are not up-to-date on maps.google.com, so you may end up at a bus stop without a clue how to get to the desired destination. Happened to me quite a few times. For more up-to-date information look at Baidu...but it's in Chinese.”

English version of bus route is really necessary

As a Chinese, the route adjustments have also made me lost for many times. I’ve took the wrong bus for many times.

i am an enthusiast in learning English and make friends with some foreigners in Kunming. they feel somehow when taking a bus. one of them said, "I can not find bus routes in English in Kunming. I have checked on Baidu and google. But nothing useful has been got. What shall we foreingers do?"
Frankly, I understand this feel. when i go abroad, I am quite worried when reading some unknown English vocabularies. Usually, I take a dictionary with. While, Chinese study is more difficult than English'. I expect related department or company will deal with these, to provide foreigners more convenient living conditions in the developing regional international city, Kunming.
